  • A degree in Hotel Management or Restaurant Management from a recognizable university.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry

  2. Once you have attained your degree you will need to begin working your way up in the industry. Apply for a position in the field of hospitality upon your university graduation; it doesn’t necessarily have to be a managerial post as you will more than likely have to start from ground up to build experience in the field.
  3. Actively participate in the hotel’s training programs offered in the initial stages of attaining a job. What you learn here can greatly assist you in moving up the ladder of success.
