How to Cook Beef Tenderloin

Beef tenderloin is one of the juiciest and most flavorful types of meat. If you wish to cook beef tenderloin, you will need 4 pieces of beef tenderloin, 4 tbsp ground black pepper, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tsp salt.

Make sure to remove your tenderloin from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking it. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Place your beef tenderloin in a roasting pan. Rub the minced garlic, black pepper, and salt on the pieces of tenderloin. Aside from these ingredients, you can add others according to your preference. Make sure that the flavors of your spices are not too strong.

Next, put the beef tenderloin and the pan in the oven. Let one side of the meat cook for 4 to 5 minutes, then turn it over. Continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes before turning it over again. Repeat this process until both sides of the beef tenderloin have been cooked.

Remove the beef tenderloin from the oven. Cover the meat with foil and let it sit for around 10 minutes. Take the pan where the tenderloin was cooked and get the burnt bits from it. These bits can be mixed with seasoning and used for dipping sauce.

You can then slice and serve the beef tenderloin. Remember to slice against the grain of the meat. This will make the tenderloin softer. This dish goes well with mashed potatoes or steaming hot rice.
