A Simple Cabbage Dish
The ingredients and materials needed to cook a simple cabbage dish are a pressure cooker, 2 tsp. sugar, 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, salt and pepper, and 1 medium sized cabbage.
Chop the cabbage into fine pieces. While chopping, remove the parts with impurities. Wash the cabbage thoroughly.
Add the vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and sugar to the cabbage. You can use other seasonings if you wish. Do not add water as this would draw flavor from the cabbage and the seasoning.
Place the cabbage in the pressure cooker. Let the cabbage cook for 2 ½ minutes.
Serve the dish. You can add more seasoning if you prefer to do so.
Cabbage with Milk
The ingredients for cooking Cabbage with Milk are 1 ½ cup of milk, salt and pepper, 2 tbsp. melted fat, 2 tbsp flour, and 1 qt. cabbage.
Shred the cabbage and remove its impurities. Wash it thoroughly.
Put the cabbage and milk in a pot. Place the pot on the stove and let the mixture simmer for 2 minutes.
Place the fat and the flour in a bowl and mix them together thoroughly. Add some milk and continue mixing.
Pour the mixture on the cabbage and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Stir it constantly until it thickens.
Once it is cooked, place the dish in a bowl. You can also season the dish with salt and pepper.
